The New York Fly, A refuge for the humorous

You might be thinking to yourself, “Oh great, another paper/journal I’m not going to sign up for.” And I would have the same exact reaction, despite its naivety. For too long, Collegiate’s literary establishments have been overrun with administrative censoring and the suppression of creative and fun writing. That stops today. We, Pablo Barrera and Willie Nuttall, the co-founders of the Fly, are creating a bastion for that exact kind of stupid yet smart, serious yet silly, creative writing that we know the people of this school are not only capable of, but also crave. We won’t only accept compositions, we’ll happily put out your poetry, drawing, painting, or stupid cartoon or doodle you did during science that made you smile. If it’s funny and interesting, we’ll make sure people see it. All you have to do is send it in, and we will post it with or without your name attached.
